[ Race Description ]
Miyako-jima (Miyako island) is kind of Japanese "Hawaii" for endurance sports. Miyako-jima is the part of Okinawa prefecture in East China Sea, far from main Japan island. The most popular Japanese Ironman triathlon race is also held in this beautiful island as well as this 100km ultra race. In the subtropics atmosphere, the runners enjoy the coastal route covering whole island shore.
