Advance notice of 2013 MIHC International Haiku Festival

1. Date: October 8 (Tue) to 13 (Sun), 2013
2. Place: Tokyo and Kamakura
3. Theme: Pilgrimage to Haiku Holy Places
4. Events:
4-1:Tokyo: Ginko and kukai at Shiki-an and Basho-an, haiku presentation/reading and Koto play, haiga/photo haiku exhibition, speech/presentation by participants, haiku/haiga-creation workshop, Noh play/wadaiko exercises, ginko to Japanese gardens, sightseeing in Tokyo, etc.
4-2: Kamakura: Ginko to Tokeiji temple (R. H. Blyth and Daisetsu Suzuki) and Jufukuji temple (Kyoshi), kukai at Kyoshi-Tatsuko memorial museum, Zen-meditation at Kenchoji temple, ginko to Kotokuji temple (Buddha), etc.

5. Time line: the following is a time line for those who would like to make a presentation at the festival:

5-1.To offer presentation: by November 30, 2012 (Japan time)
5-2. Sending us abstract by email: by March 31, 2013 (Japan time)
5-3. Sending us the manuscript by email: by May 31, 2013 (Japan time)
