Vielleux in Thailand

Young Vielleux
Welcome to the vielle (hurdy-gurdy) website.

What is the vielle?
In the right photo you can see the vielle that I am playing.
It is a musical instrument of European origin. It is used for folk music, renaissance music, baroque music and so on.
This instrument varies according to regeons and eras. It has several names, but I prefer to call this instrument in french name, '' or shortly 'Vielle'.

I am a Japanese vielleux("Hurdy-gurdy player" in French) residing in Thailand. I play mainly french traditional tunes, waltz, bourree, polka...
