About this album; Mr. Kobayashi is a composer and a bassist, who had lived in the US and Canada from late '70s until late '90s. These songs were written while he was in the US, and were inspired by the power of the nature or affectionate feelings toward his family and his native country, Japan. It was challenging for me to play these songs since each theme is very simple, but somehow I could play with lots of imagination and feeling during my improvisation.
