1998.8.8-15.　Ford Castle Summer School　古城に泊まってレースの講習を受ける。初心から上級まで各種。食事付の宿泊費込で３８０ポンドです。レースを織らない同行者にはゴルフコースや古城、旧跡など多々ある。毎年催行。次は、 1999.8.7.-14. と予定されています。

日本のレース織物美術館

レースの資料博物館として、富山県小矢部市小さなポアンドアランソン館 Fax 0766-69-8830 がありました。１階には、巨大なレース織機が展示してあり、２階には手織りのレースが展示してありました。レースは英仏の他にも、マルタと、パラグァイのニャンドュティが記憶に残っています。先代社長が第２次大戦前から海外ヘ出掛けて収集したレースや道具の展示館といった印象でした。また、津和野に人形、陶磁器、レースの個人的収集品の展示館があります。島根県鹿足郡津和野町大字森村、板橋アンティークドールレース美術館 Tel08567-2-3110です。京都の（烏丸六角下がる）ルシアン野村株式会社の資料館は非公開ですが、４万点以上のレースを収集して日本一と云われます。神戸の六甲アイランドに　神戸ファッション美術館　 があり、2010年には国際レース展も開催されます。穐葉アンティークジュウリー美術館が Webで見られます。そのほか伊豆高原パリ装飾美術館が特別展など催しています。

Brussels Belgium, 王立美術歴史博物館、立派なものだが、レース部は暗い。他の美術品が素晴らしい。

“ヨーロッパのレース展”　京都国立近代美術館発行、展覧会用の日本語とフランス語の解説付きの目録写真集です。ブリュセル王立美術館の最高のレースの写真印刷が素晴らしい、１９８７発行。本場のブリュッセルでは、展示室が暗いし、すべてが常時展示してあるわけではない。また、実物にこれほど接近できないので、レースを詳細に検討するには、この写真の方が研究に適していると思います。
“手芸が語るロココ”　飯塚信雄著　１９９０。中公新書。学者の書いた、レースの歴史がわかる本、愛好家必読と薦めたい、現在は版元で在庫切れです。古書店で探すと時々見つかります。
