Model Rocketry's founding father, George Harry Stine was died. Harry's spirit made its way into the Universe on Nov. 2nd 1997. Makoto Yamada, the president of Japan Association of Rocketry did memorial launch his first model rocket in opening ceremony of The 7th JAR Annual Meet on Nov. 23rd 1997 at NASDA Tukuba Space Center, Tukuba Ibaragi.   ESTES SKYWINDER is a "Rotate Recovery" rocket. It has three helicopter blades unfold from the body and start spinning faster and faster, the skywinder gently to the ground.
